THERMACELL REVIEW .....

** This review is my own opinion of the product.  I was not compensated nothing at all for this review, except for the product to test.**

Let me start out by saying if you love the outdoors, whether if it's camping, hunting or a night time hike then this is the perfect lantern for you.  It will keep the mosquitos away from your campsite, so everyone will not get bit up from them.  The lantern shines just enough light to see all around you.  Now, I think that this is the perfect product you could ever have.  These also make the perfect gifts for families or a great gift for that hunter.

My family loves to go camping and this Thermacell Lantern has been a great accessory to our camping trips.  The Lantern is very sturdy and durable, the best part it is very lightweight.  It is the perfect size to fit right into our duffel bag that we pack for the trip.  We turn the Lantern on a little bit before dusk, so that way it will start to help with the mosquitos.  We usually have a small campfire, but it never helped with the mosquitos and if you don't keep tending to it then it will go out.  We still make a small campfire for our marshmallows, but we always have out Lantern on.

The Thermacell Mosquito Repeller Bristol Lantern effectively repels mosquitoes, black flies, and other biting insects by creating a 15 x 15-foot zone of protection for bug-free comfort. Its ambient light and decorative design perfectly adorn your deck or patio. Ideal for use while you are gardening, observing outdoor sporting events, and hanging around the backyard, Thermacell Lanterns have been evaluated by the EPA for safety and effectiveness.
  • Works with all Thermacell repellent mats and refills
  • Includes: Thermacell Bristol Lantern, 3 Original repeller mats, 1 butane cartridge

Now I would like to take a minute to tell you about the best part of this post.  I personally think you should come and take them up on this offer.

Deb's Creations ..........

I would like to introduce you to an awesome site that I grew to really love to use.  I am a writer, but not so much an artist.  This site lets you use a variety of pictures and backgrounds for your work.  In which I think is pretty great.  You are able to write a long form, picture book or poetry with their artist's pictures.  I have written up three poems trying to work around the picture to make them go together, but they give you certain words to use.  It is a challenge, but it is one I will conquer!

I am always looking for other places that I can get my writing out there and hopefully start making a little money on them through making poetry cards and picture books.  I would have to tell you that if you write anything at all then you should check out Storybird.  You will love it!

So I will stop rambling on and the next three items are what I created on Storybird.  Let me know what you think........Please!

Now it's your turn to click on Storybird and create a few and share them with me.
 What do you say?

Jigsaw Puzzles

Well, welcome to my jigsaw puzzle page.  I wanted to shake things up and a fun page.  If this is a big hit there will be more to come.  I am in the middle of creating different kinds of puzzles.

Here is another one.........

Let me know what you think!!!!!

June's Post ................... The Love of Books!

I would like to introduce you to the very first post for, "The Love of Books".  I hope you are just as excited as I am.  I love to read all kinds of books.  I am also very interested in learning and of course to share my thoughts on a good book.  I hope you will read some of the books I share.

The first book I would like to share is.........

This author Lauraine offers a character-driven tale about trust in God when life has been turned upside down. Mona and Ken Sorenson have been married for 34 years; with Ken about to retire from a successful career as dean of students at the fictional Stone University in Wisconsin, they are looking forward to a relaxing second act with only themselves and their two pets to worry about. Their plans are derailed when their son, Steig, a single father, is deployed to Pakistan and leaves his two young children in their care. Ken and Mona need to adjust to life as the primary caregivers for Mellie, age 10, and Jakey, age 5. Meanwhile, Ken continues to put out fires at work, and Mona faces an ongoing battle with depression and worry as well as a physical health scare. They both will learn important lessons about themselves and what is important as they navigate this new chapter of their lives. Meanwhile, Mellie and Jakey struggle to cope with the loss of both their parents and the fear that their grandparents will abandon them as well. This quiet novel about the growing trend of grandparents raising their grandchildren and keeping one's faith amidst the challenges of life will appeal to mature Christian readers.

The second book I will introduce to you is........

Kraus, well known for his animal stories (The Dog That Saved Stewart Coolidge), charms fans again with his latest canine tale. In present-day Pittsburgh, Penn., 85-year-old Gretna Steele adopts black Lab mix Thurman on a whim. When she learns of her retirement community’s “no pets” rule, she must hand him off to her reclusive son, Wilson. It seems Thurman was meant to be with Wilson all along, as the dog begins to pull the isolated professor and Vietnam vet out of his self-induced “sweet invisibility.” Wilson keeps his past deeply buried, but Thurman draws him out with growls and yips that seem to be actual words—at least to Wilson. Across the continent in Portland, Ore., Hazel Jamison discovers a mysterious photograph and key when she clears out her mother’s home. The key changes Hazel’s life and the photo sets her on a journey of discovery that intersects with Wilson and Thurman in unexpected ways. This sweet novel is for readers who love tales of sentient pets, or just well-told, simple stories of redemption and forgiveness. Agent: Chip MacGregor, MacGregor Literary.

Now for the last book of the post is...........

THE ABCs OF CHRISTIANITY is a concise summary of the fundamental principles of the religion of Jesus, presented so today's generation will understand the Bible and experience the gift of knowing God.

Yes, this "is" Grandma's religion. The underpinnings are the same rock solid concepts taught for 2,000 years. But this book is what texting is to ancient scrolls with each concept presented in concise, almost outline, form. Every doctrine is further referenced by Scripture, allowing readers to use the Bible translation of their choice whether it be a leather-bound King James Version on onion-skin paper, a Biblical translation app, (on phone or tablet), or favorite spirituality Internet site. Stripped of anecdotes, wordsmithing, and other mechanics used to communicate biblical truth, this handbook is meant to serve all who wish to live in the now and experience the gift of actively knowing God.

******************************************************************************************************

Well I hope you all enjoyed the first post of books.  Of course, this will be a monthly post with more and more books.

Make some time and grab one of these books or maybe even two.

26 Awesome Activities For Children !

Kids love to play outdoors and we love to see them have fun, right? But playing the same outdoor games again and again can be boring to your kids so you have to be a little creative. Actually, with just a little imagination you can create hundreds of ways of having fun outdoors. Here I’ll share to you some of the fun activities for kids that you’ll surely enjoy playing with your kids.

Obstacle Race

Nothing can be more fun than to watch your toddler go through your homemade obstacle course. This is surely one of those activities for kids that can make you laugh. And I’m sure your little one will enjoy crawling through a big box, walking along a rope, and stepping onto old clothes.

Old Time Favorites

Century old games such as, What's the Time, Mr Wolf? Simon Says, and Ring-a-Ring-a-Rosie are still fun to play. Remember those days when you were playing them with your neighbors? A lot of things must have changed around the neighborhood, but these remain as some of the favorite activities for kids.

Have Some Exercise

Another one of those fun activities for kids is strolling. Instead of driving to a mini-store to get some bread or milk, why not stroll with your kids? What makes this activity even better for kids is when you act as spies as you walk. Check out the leaves, the local cats, and the snails as you go.

A Work of Art
While strolling to the shops, make sure you ask your kids to collect some simple treasures—like leaves and feathers, which you can use later on to do some simple collage. Give them a piece of paper to be the base of their collage. Then using glue let them stick all their collections onto the paper as artistically as they can. I’m sure your little ones will crave for more of these activities for kids.

Go Treasure Hunting

Make a list of treasures for your kids to find. Then head your small team of treasure hunters out into the local neighborhood and find the items on the list. After playing this, I’m sure you’ll agree that this is indeed one of those fun activities for kids.

Write All You Can
Let your little ones write on any piece of concrete using a jumbo-sized chalk. Like the other activities for kids that I’ve shared, this one can occupy them even for ages.

Splatter on the Puddle

Next time it rains, look for raincoats, gumboots and umbrellas. Play with your kids in the rain and splatter through puddles. This is one of the outdoor activities for kids that they won’t forget.

Fun Ride

Lead a team of bikers onto paths with a mild slope. When you return, your kids will have fun trekking on Mount Everest.

Finder’s Keeper

Another fun game to play with your child is to look for simple items in the garden such as three black stones, five yellow leaves, etc as quickly as they can.

Spraying Spree

Hand a plastic spray bottle filled with water to your little one. Then ask him to spray each and every plant in your garden. This is not just one of those enjoyable activities for kids, but this is also good for your plants.

Go Green

Watching plants grow and produce flowers is probably one of the best activities for kids. This is activity can be a combination of fun and learning.

Indiana Jones

Spend some time hiding some tiny treasures, such as candies and toys, around the garden. Then organize your kids to go treasure hunting.

Tea Party

Organize a tea party for your little guests using just a tea set and a small table. Let them have fun as you serve them with some biscuits and water.

Fun Ride at the Park

Bike parks are great places to do some fun activities for kids. This is also a safe place for them to master their biking skills.

Take a Ferryboat
Being out on the water will definitely bring joy to your little ones, and to you, too.

Bushwalking

No kid would miss the chance of going for a bushwalk. What makes bushwalking as one of the favorite activities for kids is that it’s a good time for them to get dirty as they roam freely and 'talk' with beetles and flowers.

Fly A Kite

Flying a kite is fun. And did you know that activities for kids can be a whole lot better if you make it more personalized? Here’s how: Cut a cardboard into a diamond shape, put on some decorations, make a hole in one end and then attach a long piece of wool through it. Let your toddler have fun running with a kite flying behind her.

Mini-Olympics

This is surely one of those activities for kids that are simple and fun. All you need to do is set up a simple course at the playground for your kids. Ask them to go through it while timing them. Brace yourself as you watch them beat their own record in every lap.

Catch Games
Should you’re toddler be a beginner in aerial catches, start by training her roll the ball. When she’s already used to it, you can already bounce the ball towards her. Then try gentle throws until she becomes an expert in catching balls.

Sail A Boat

One of the best activities for kids is that of sailing a boat, even with just a model one. Make it in your own house with materials such as paddle-pop sticks, polystyrene foam ice cream containers, or paper. Design your own boat as uniquely as you can. Then take it to a backyard pool or a pond. Have fun sailing!

Paint with water

Give each kid a paintbrush and a container of water and let him paint anything on the back fence and trees. These are great activities for kids that encourage their creativity.

Colourful Waterplay
Now here’s one of those activities for kids that is fun but a bit messy so kids must play it outdoor with an apron. Head outside with bottles of water and a variety of food colorings. Then let your kids mix and match the colors until everyone has the same uniform color in each bottle.

Bookworms
If you’re thinking of activities for kids that are not only fun but also enriching, then consider reading books to them. And yes, books aren’t just read in your bedroom. A shaded part in your yard can be a perfect place to enjoy a book with your child. Spread a rug and take out those books.

Be Sandy

Let your little ones go wild in their imagination by making anything such as pizza, cake and even castles using sands. Just supply them with small buckets, your old kitchen utensils, and biscuit cutters. This is indeed one of those activities for kids that can bring out the best in them.

Hidey-Hole
And when you think you’re running out of ideas of fun activities for kids, here’s one you should really try make an outdoor home using a sheet and some chairs.

Let Your Young Artist Shine

Make the most out of a sunny day, by setting a table outside. Next, arrange an easel, spread the crayons, the glitter glue and encourage your kids to be crafty.

As you know there are an endless number of activities that can be made up to play with children.  I just wanted to share some that I used to play with my children when they were younger.  We all used to have tons of fun.  I really miss the young children because now  they are all grown up and well don't really want to play with mom no more.

I would love to know of any games that you made up and played with your children.  Make sure you share in the comments.

The Greatest Father's Day Gift Guide !

I just wanted to take a second to introduce you to this Father's Day Gift Guide that I am creating for all my readers and visitors.  As you know Father's Day is right up there on the list of holidays.  We all LOVE our dad......Right?

Important Information On
Father's Day!

On July 19, 1910, the governor of the U.S. state of Washington proclaimed the nation’s first “Father’s Day.” However, it was not until 1972, 58 years after President Woodrow Wilson made Mother’s Day official, that the day became a nationwide holiday in the United States.

The campaign to celebrate the nation’s fathers did not meet with the same enthusiasm–perhaps because, as one florist explained, “fathers haven’t the same sentimental appeal that mothers have.” On July 5, 1908, a West Virginia church sponsored the nation’s first event explicitly in honor of fathers, a Sunday sermon in memory of the 362 men who had died in the previous December’s explosions at the Fairmont Coal Company mines in Monongah, but it was a one-time commemoration and not an annual holiday. The next year, a Spokane,Washington woman named Sonora Smart Dodd, one of six children raised by a widower, tried to establish an official equivalent to Mother’s Day for male parents. She went to local churches, the YMCA, shopkeepers and government officials to drum up support for her idea, and she was successful: Washington State celebrated the nation’s first statewide Father’s Day on July 19, 1910. Slowly, the holiday spread. In 1916, President Wilson honored the day by using telegraph signals to unfurl a flag in Spokane when he pressed a button in Washington, D.C.In 1924, President Calvin Coolidge urged state governments to observe Father’s Day. However, many men continued to disdain the day. As one historian writes, they “scoffed at the holiday’s sentimental attempts to domesticate manliness with flowers and gift-giving, or they derided the proliferation of such holidays as a commercial gimmick to sell more products–often paid for by the father himself.”

The Top 10 Things You’ll Never Hear a Dad Say:

10. “Well, how ‘bout that? I’m lost! Looks like we’ll have to stop and ask for directions.”
9. “You know Pumpkin, now that you’re thirteen, you’ll be ready for un-chaperoned car dates. Won’t that be fun?”
8. “I noticed that all your friends have a certain hostile attitude. I like that.”
7. “Here’s a credit card and the keys to my new car. Go crazy!!!”
6. “What do you mean you wanna play football? Figure skating is not good enough for you, son?”
5. “Your Mother and I are going away for the weekend. You might want to consider throwing a party.”
4. “Well, I don’t know what’s wrong with your car. Probably one of those doo-hickey thingies—ya know—that makes it run or something. Just have it towed to a mechanic and pay whatever he asks.”
3. “No son of mine is going to live under this roof without an earring. Now quit your belly-aching and let’s go to the mall.”
2. “Whaddya wanna go and get a job for? I make plenty of money for you to spend.”
And the number one thing you’ll never hear a dad say:
1. “What do I want for Father’s Day? Aahh—don’t worry about that. It’s no big deal.” (actually they might say this, but they don’t mean it).

Now for the ending of my Father's Day Post I want to wish all the dad's that are out there have the best day ever.  I do believe that dad's do deserve a day, just like us Mother's.  I do think that us Mother's should have a weekend cause we need it.  Come on don't you agree?

15 DAY BLOGGING CHALLENGE.......DAY 13!

So this post is going to be about what I have benefited from joining and on this challenge and blogging every day.  I can't wait to start sharing with you what I actually got out of this challenge.

Let's see the first and best thing I got out of this challenge is that I know I can write and post in my blog every day.  It taught me stability in posting and creating something each and every day.  I was kind of behind everyone else due to my dialysis, but I caught up and I actually got the awesome feeling of satisfaction from achieving every challenge.

The next big thing is that I think it will make me a better writer.  It taught me the discipline of actually sitting down to write a post every day.  I will benefit from actually sitting down and planning what I would like to write for that day.

Now, this one benefit I never really thought of until now.  If I write what I read and then read what I had written, I found this to be the biggest benefit of all  because I actually learned more this way.  Well, I really believe I did..  It helped with a lot of grammar, proofreading and actually changing it up to make it sound excellent.

Well, the last benefit I would have to say is that it really kept my mind working.  Through the writing and learning, it kept my brain exercising  throughout the blogging challenges.  Our minds need the stimulation and activity to keep it working.  You actually will be amazed of what you will remember for participating in mental activities from all different blogging activities.

I really have enjoyed a participating in this blogging challenge and have learned a lot.  The challenges were laid out in detail but you really need to find the words and make it into an awesome post that will be on your blog.  You hope as you are writing that someone out there will learn something from you.  The other thing is the people that were in this blogging group was so helpful and just wonderful.

15-Day Blogging Challenge ................................. Day 12!

Well here I am on another blogging challenge and I am ready to write this one right up.  Now I will be giving you a review of one of my blogs that I visit and read quite a bit.

This is part of The Autumn Rain Blog

Well I want to give you a little bit about the past and why I like reading this blog every week.  I was just starting out in my blogging and I joined this group and she was one of the administrators.  I had asked so many questions because I was just starting out at that time.  She had helped me with quite a bunch of things to do with blogging.

Now the blogger for this blog is Nichole and she is the creator and author of Autumn Rain.  You really need to check it out yourself.  She covers everything from product reviews to life things.  She does have he Daily Ramblings which I love to read.  She is a Southern Girl and you will be able to tell that.  Let's see her blog has a happy tone to it even when something goes wrong.  I think I like reading the blog.is that is down to earth and personal.  You get some that really just are bad.

Now here is just a part of a post I commented on and was really great to read...........

Hey Everyone
Wowzers Ya’ll you talk about H O T -it has taken it to a new level today! I didn’t sleep very well after David left and I knew that my mom was gonna meet a girl to sale some honey to so I had told her to stop by and pick up a few things that I had for her like her canning jars and such (I had a good collection) and some of her reusable shopping bags.
She brought me half of a  watermelon and I also printed her out some coupons.  Read on....
Well I do hope you all will go and check out this awesome blog, Autumn Rain.  I hope you find it as good as I do.

15-Day Blogging Challenge.........................Day 8!

Well this one was really hard for me and I dont know why.  I went down the line for several topics to rant about and not to sound like a jerk about it. Well I relly got stuck.  I thought about a restaurant that screwed up my pizza, dialysis, my husband and public trnsportation.  Well the rant on dialysis would really make me sound like a jerk, cause I hate going and mad sometimes on having to be on dialysis.  So that wasn'e going to work.  As you read below you will know what I picked.  Sorry if it makes me sound like a jerk, I never really wrote a rant.

My Rant is on Public Transportation ...........

Well if you ever needed to use public transporation than you will completely understand this rant.  Public Transportation  is not a means of transportation for all, but we are assuming that at one point in everyone's life, their daily commute will put them on public transit. Once you have experienced public transportation for a prolonged period of time, you will realize not everyone is courteous, and some riders are rather annoying. I have taken the liberty to explain the annoying personalities and idiosyncrasies you can run into on a daily basis.

Now as I write remember I am a very nice person and can get along with mostly anyone I meet.  Now the first thing I cant stand is some people's breath.  Now let me explain not everyone would like to know if you partied the night before or what you had for breakfast.  As you know sometimes the public transportation is very full and we are pushed close to the other riders.  So carry some gum or tic-tacs.

Then there are those people that just sit there and stare at you.  That really bothers me.  I would love to tell them to take a picture it lasts longer, but nope I dont cause they just might now-a-days. I was told to stare back and they would stop.  I just never tried it yet.

As you know your on public transportation has many peope and even some are sick.  Well I know I am not trying to catch a code or worse.  There are people coughing and sneezing right next to you,  If that isn't enough you have the people that just cough and sneeze out right.  They need to cover their mouths when doing so.  I think that is just plain nasty and disrespectful.  Well actually it is just damn GROSS!

Now the next thing is the people that are all stretched out.  Come on your not in your own home, move your legs.  You got the ones that are half laying across the seats and the ones that stretch out their legs in the aisle and just makes you climb over.  I personally would love to kick their legs, but it won't end up well.

Please turn your phones on vibrate before you board the bus.  Let me tell you all that ringing and music is very annoying at 8 in the morning.  I literally got off the bus with a wicked headache.  I just don't know why people just can't be respectful of others that are next to them.  I would like to take their phones and throw them out the windows.  Plus it's not just the phone ringing it's that some people have to scream when they talk on the phone.  Come on no one wants to hear your one sided conversation.  Just have some respect, please.

Well this is just my opinions on my personal experience on riding public transportation.  So , if I missed one and would love to share.....then go right ahead.  I would lovwe to read yours.

15 DAY BLOGGING CHALLENGE..................................DAY 9!

3 Things That Blogging Gurus Won't Tell You                                           About Blogging

Well here I am getting ready to write up this challenge post.  I find this topic to actually be very helpful to me and hey maybe even you.  Now I am going to be completely honest with you.  I had been writing since high school, but poetry and some short stories, just for my fun.  Now I find myself blogging and writing articles, among other things daily.  My blog here is alittle over a year and that is when I started branching out.  Well I would do research and research trying to find help to blogging, ways to make extra income and I found thousands of posts that said a bunch of crap. I found out the hard way because I tried some of the ideas that were said and they FAILED.

Well here I go as I start out with the first thing that blogging gurus don't tell you all about.  They don't let you know to get your blog out there, really out there it will be very HARD work.  If you take blogging seriously it is friggin hard to do.  I will be the first to admit that I would LOVE to make a career out of my blog someday.  But taking all the necessary steps to grow your online presence is bloody hard. Like really bloody hard.  Some of them make it seem like it's as easy as 1, 2, 3 and it is not.  So, don't be fooled by this, like I was.

Now for this second thing and I am sure a lot of you would agree with me on this one.  They say for us to  buy things we don’t need because blog props.  You must know that we don't need to have everything they say we need.  Well blog props are useless shit we have around the house to dress up a photo. Think fake flowers and Primark rings.  So why buy a bunch of crap when you don't need to.  Well that is my thought on the subject.  You already have a bunch of stuff in your home that could be used.

Let's see for the third thing I think is that when you start out they don't tell you how much it actually could cost you in setting up your blog.  They just write about what they get for payments, never the cost to get there.  Also there are also those certain sites that sound so awesome but they don't payout when that time comes.  I learned all of that the hard way too.  I had done lots of work for all kinds of different sites for freelance jobs and never got a thing.  You are right........a big ZERO.  That really pissed me off because I could of been doing something else for my blog and to create a income.  Now I don't listen to any reviews or nothing. I read and try what I think is good.  Since I have been doing this I have been doing good.

Well let me end this by saying:

  • Do your own research
  • Don't buy unecessary things you don't need
  • Have patience and good things will come
  • Don't try every thing you come across....pick and chose

*** May's Pet Guide ***

So for the month of May, I have written a few articles that go great with our pets and spring.  We all know the hotter it gets the more fleas and other bugs come out.  We have to protect our fur babies just like our children.  I will be sharing some great products and some information that I find is helpful.  So, let me get on with all the goodies for this Pet Guide.  I also would like to know any requests or information you either need or have......just let me know!

TopTops 2PCS Pet Dog Cat Brush Shower Bath Massage

Only $3.32

Now this Bath Massage is actually pretty great to use on your dogs and cats.  It is great to be able to scrub your dogs hair and skin while they are in the tub.  My small dog has dry skin and when he gets fleas it really makes his skin horrible.  I use these to stimulate that dead skin and to give all my animals a great bath.

I just wanted to give you a few more great reasons why this product is so great:

  • Adjustable: The comb fit for any size hand to use it.
  • Made of soft rubber, use for the bath. It can massage the pets, your pet will enjoy the bath/shower.
  • Shampoo pet's fur, or just to brush and remove excess hair. Just wear on your hand and easily comb the hair out of your pets.
  • Make the washing work easy and happy.

Flea Control For Dogs And Cats

Many Americans have a four-legged member of their family in their home. Most people deal with housebreaking problems, pet hair on furniture, and an occasional broken lamp because all the friendly welcomes home outweigh these minor problems. When the weather begins to get warmer, these pet owners begin to cringe with the thought of spring. It can only mean one thing; flea season and the circus of giving flea baths and dips is about to start. But in the past few years, there has been a break through in scientific technology allowing both owners and pets to rest easier. The scientific community has come up with a liquid that can be put on the pets skin that kills adult fleas. These liquids are safe for people and animals and do not wash off. But which one is the best choice?

While only a veterinarian can choose the right product for each pet, owners can definitely look into the choices by asking their vet or by simply logging onto the internet. There are three products on the market that are currently most often advised by vets: Frontline-Topspot, Advantage, and Revolution. By examining each product's web page, one can gain more information about each product that they can use along with their veterinarians advice to find the right product. Each website is different in the way they represent their products information through audience choice, layout, presentation of information, and general style.

Before looking at the difference between these websites, it may be helpful to know exactly what these products are. These products are meant as a flea control measure by killing the adult fleas that bite the pet. The product comes in a small ampule and is in liquid form. The liquid is applied directly to the skin of the pet between the shoulder blades. It is then absorbed into the fatty layer of the skin and into the blood system. The product cannot be washed off after application, which allows the pet to be bathed and to play in water and it does not rub off into the environment. Although meant primarily as flea control, Frontline also protects the pet from ticks and Revolution protects against tick, ear mites, and intestinal parasites. All three products have come onto the market in the last four years, with Revolution being the latest edition this spring. All three products are relatively safe and can be purchased through a veterinarian.

Information On Cats........

There are three types of domestic cats: indoor domestic cats, outdoor domestic cats, and indoor-outdoor domestic cats. Though these cats would look very similar if they were clean and sitting next to each other, they would also be very different.

Indoor cats are generally very clean, since they do not have to work for their food. The excess time allows them to clean and pamper themselves on a daily basis. The fact that they are usually fed on regular intervals makes an indoor cat overweight. Thecats know that they can sleep all day and still get fed once or more times a day. Also, since the cats do not work for their food, they lose their exercise time. It makes it impossible for them to burn off any extra calories they may have gotten.

This type of cat generally likes a lot of human contact, since humans are the ones who pamper and feed the cats. They are use to this contact, which makes them not scared of humans. For the most indoor cats, a person does not have to worry about getting a disease from them, since the cat probably is taken to the veterinarian on a regular basis.

Outdoor cats usually are pretty scraggly looking. The fact that they have to work for all of their food causes them to get more dirty and does not allow them the time to clean themselves everyday. They are much skinnier and are in much better shape. These cats are awake all day long looking for food and avoiding the everyday obstacles of an outdoor cat. This allows them to get plenty of exercise, but not always enough food.

Outdoor cats are not usually people friendly. They are not around humans, so that they do not depend on humans enough to be friendly with people. It is probably a good thing that these types of cats do not like a lot of human contact, since more outdoor cats unlike indoor cats have not had their shots. This does not insure that they are free from diseases, so a person does not know if this cat has a disease or not.
An indoor-outdoor cat is a combination of the previous two types of cats. These cats are also generally clean looking cats that are semi-dependent on humans for their food. These cats have to look for food, but they are also are given food by humans. These cats are generally in good shape and they are also in better health. They get plenty of exercise but they also get some of the luxuries of the indoor cat.

These cats are also people friendly. Since they are semi-dependent on humans, they in return are used to them and are not scared of them. These cats are sometimes even temporarily housed by humans from time to time to further emphasize their dependency on humans. A person can usually count on a cat like this to have some of their shots and be free of diseases.

As I have observed these cats over the years, I have noticed many of these differences and similarities of these different types of cats. This allows a person to see how similar these cats can be. I must say, my favorite would have to be the overweight and lovable indoor cat. Since these cats are so friendly and they are sure to be free from diseases.

This is " Blackie" one of the eight  moth old cats.  I know it's not right but this one is my favorite cat out of the 8 month old batch.  Now dont get me wrong I treat and love each one equally, but Blackie is the first and only one that has been curled up with my since a little kitten.

Say HI to little " Fruit Cup"
My son, Shawn named him because this is his favorite.
This is one from the 8 week old kittens.

I will share a couple of pictures each and every month of my fur babies.  I would love to see and place your fur babies in a collage in one of my future posts.  I really hope this will be a big hit and if it is I will host games, contests and giveaways.  So let's see how good the first one will be.

Information on the Pet Collage:
