** This post may contain some affiliate links and this is in my own words and own opinion of everything in this post.**

Welcome to August's Pet Guide.  You already know August is the last month of the summer.  So this post will have a few products and some articles for the upcoming months.  We all know that winter is very hard on animals just as summer is.  In the next few monthly posts, I will be giving tips, tricks, great products as the climate changes and helpful articles written by me.

Meet One Of Our Kitties........
Fruit cup

I just want to take a few minutes to tell you about this great kitty.  This kitty is just one out of the 2nd batch of kittens that were born.  My son named this little one and it is a cute name.  Don't you think so?  Right now we have a lot of kitties in the house because the momma cat had 2 batches of kittens before I could get her fixed.  Plus before that we had 3 more adult cats not including the momma and we have 2 dogs.  So if you can tell I love animals and my son is the same way.  So I will be posting some great stuff for animals for Halloween, Thanksgiving and of course Christmas.  Make sure you keep coming back monthly.  Now let's get started with the first product.

Indoor Suede Kitty Cat Bed-Hut

I want to introduce you to the best ever kitty bed ever.  This is truly one of a kind and my kitties love this bed.  Well some love it 10 times more than others.  It is made of this soft and fuzzy suede.   It has a rooftop over  three-quarters  of it which makes it pretty nice.  Now when I say soft I really mean soft. I personally was surprised!  As you can see it is also a very nice color and will go in any room you would like to put it in.  One other thing the cushion that is on the bottom comes out so easy for you to clean it.

When I opened the box and got it set up all the kitties crept closer to it and were all curious.  They were so cute, even the bigger cats.  This makes a great place when the kitties get tired after their run around the house playing.  I know your cat will choose to stop and take their hidden nap or they will just lay and hide to keep a watch what is going on around the room.  The small opening makes it even cozier for your pet to be warmer on those chilly mornings.  This also makes the kitties feel safer and more protected.

What do you think of this bed?
Don't you think your cat deserves a heavenly bed?

Important Factors:

I wanted to share some important factors with you in this post.  It is just some information to know.

It has recently come to my attention that not enough people understand how great pets has been to our lives. Each day we wake up and likely have one or more pets lying at the foot of our beds. It is wonderful to be able to wake up and smile each morning because of this.  (I totally have to agree with this factor because it is amazing to wake up with your fur babies all around you.)

Social & Cultural Factors

Pets has a large role in American Culture. Many people can often be seen taking part in activities associated with pets. This is partly because people of most ages can be involved and families are brought together by this. Generally a person who displays their dislike for pets may be considered an outcast.

Economic Factors

It is not common practice to associate economics with pets. Generally, pets would be thought to have no effect on our economic situation, but there are in fact some effects. The sales industry associated with pets is actually a 2.3 billion dollar a year industry and growing each year. The industry employs nearly 150,000 people in the United States alone. It would be safe to say that pets play an important role in American economics and shouldn't be taken for granted.

Environmental Factors

After a three month long research project, I've been able to conclude that pets doesn't negatively effect the environment at all. A pets did not seem to result in waste products and couldn't be found in forests, jungles, rivers, lakes, oceans, etc... In fact, pets produced some positive effects on our sweet little nature.

Political Factors

Oh does pets ever influence politics. Last year 5 candidates running for some sort of position used pets as the primary topic of their campaign. A person might think pets would be a bad topic to lead a campaign with, but in fact with the social and environmental impact is has, this topic was able to gain a great number of followers. These 5 candidates went 4 for 5 on winning their positions.

Here are a few more of my little ones:

Izzy, Tiger & Oreo

As you can see Little Oreo is snuggled in there with them and all you can see is her face peeping through.  Tiger is very lovable and is always by my side.  That sentence goes with my Little Izzy. She comes running to my feet if I go in my room and even to the bathroom.  She likes to be held like a baby and she is so adorable.
I will introduce you to more of my fur babies as the months go on.

Many people think that pets are too much of a responsibility, as they require food, walked on a regular basis, trained properly and lots of love and care. Any pet that lives outside a cage has to be trained properly so that it does not soil the home. Without training dogs can be very destructive and even dangerous. Pets are also very expensive and their food, toys, and medical treatment cost a lot of money too.
Some pets are not looked after properly by their owners and sometimes the owner even loses interest. There were 40,879 humane destruction’s of dogs last year, 32,769 of cats and 18,816 of others. These figures include 29,610 dogs and cats too sick to live. People are cruel to pets and hurt them in al sorts of ways. In 1985 the RSPCA had to destroy 137,632 dogs cats and other pets, many were healthy but just too much for the RSPCA to find homes for. Inspectors from the RSPCA were called out to investigate 64,678 complaints last year. These are just some of the bad points of having a pet.
Others think of pets as trusted friends as they give us comfort and affection. Pets are tame animals kept for companionship or because they are attractive to look at. Pets are good fun and can teach children responsibilities in life. Pets in the UK are very popular below are the top ten pets in England and Wales.
In 1980 there was 5.6million dogs in the UK, this number increased by 1.8million in 1989. There were 2million more cats in the UK in 1989 than in 1980. The number of Budgies also increased by 0.1million in 1989.
The Royal Society for the prevention of cruelty to animals more commonly known as the RSPCA looks after animals that have been treated badly. Last year the RSPCA homed 105,079 animals including dogs, cats and many other animals.
If you don’t have a pet I would seriously consider buying one. Pets are very good company and almost any animal could be a pet. Unusual pets require special care and some knowledge and how they behave in the wild. Many pets need very little attention or space – there is room in the smallest home for a fish tank or a birdcage.

MY PET for Dog Collar Adjustable Sizes with Plastic Snap Closure Reflective

I have to say that this is a really nice collar to have for your dog.  I have 2 dogs and big 1/2 Black Lab & 1/2 German Shephard and the other one is a small one. So I received this collar so I could test it on my big dog.  The thickness of this collar makes it very durable.  It fits around her neck with ease.  You are able to adjust it with no problem.  I think it is a great collar period.

Why wouldn't you want the best for your pet?
