It is the perfect size to fit right into our duffel bag that we pack for the trip. We turn the Lantern on a little bit before dusk, so that way it will start to help with the mosquitos. We usually have a small campfire, but it never helped with the mosquitos and if you don't keep tending to it then it will go out. We still make a small campfire for our marshmallows, but we always have out Lantern on.
