WELCOME TO KRYSTAL'S REVIEW

Have you ever heard of Krystal's?  If not, don't worry about it I will tell you all about it.  The Krystal story starts with two men, one store, and a mission—to bring folks in the South the best little burger they’d ever tasted. A lot of things have changed since we opened over 81 years ago (making us America’s second-oldest fast-food restaurant), but deep down that’s still what we’re doing today.

 A HISTORY OF GREAT TASTE

It was on October 24, 1932, when the nation’s first Krystal restaurant opened its doors on the corner of Seventh and Cherry Streets in downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee amid the harsh financial times of the Great Depression. Its founders, Rody Davenport Jr. and J. Glenn Sherrill, believed that despite the severe economic upheaval of the times, people would patronize a restaurant that was kept spotlessly clean, provided courteous service and offered a good meal at the lowest possible price. Proving this theory true, the restaurant’s first customer, French Jenkins, ordered six Krystals and a cup of coffee, all for the bargain price of 35 cents.

The restaurant became an overnight success with customers flocking to the small building to savor hot-off-the-grill Krystals and sip freshly brewed coffee from thick china mugs. Those not lucky enough to snag a seat would order sacks full of Krystals to take with them, making Krystal a pioneer in the business of good food “to go.”

Prize Package

This is the prize pack that they had sent to me so I was able to review these great products I received.  The baking pan is an 11 x 13 and is non-stick.  These are the best baking pans ever, right?  The other really cute thing in this package is the little hamburger salt and pepper shakers.  These would be a great conversation starter at a lunch.  The next thing is the seasoning that they actually use in their restaurant.  To tell you the truth I actually used it on my chicken tonight for supper.  I have to say that it gave my chicken a pretty great taste.  This seasoning will be used a lot in my house.  Now for the next fun thing that is included is a chef's hat and a black apron.  The chef's hat is red and the apron is just like the ones they wear at the restaurant.  The children will love this.  That way they will be able to be part of the suppertime meal.

In this part I want to tell you about this silk blanket.  It really is the softest blanket I ever felt in my life.  This blanket is also made out of 100% mulberry silk.  This blanket is great on the bed or wrapped around you while sitting on the couch watching those movies.  There are several colors you can choose from.

The best part is that this fits right around your shoulders and back like a shawl.  I usually wear it that way when I am walking from my bed to the living room for coffee in the morning.  I just can't get over how soft it is.  Now it is a little thin, so don't think it is a big heavy blanket because it isn't.  I am a very cold person in the winter due to my dialysis, but I do use this throw quite a bit.  I place it over my sheet at night and most nights I am perfect like that.

Nonni’s Biscotti .........

(This review is in my own words and my own opinion of the product. I was given samples of this product for free in return for my HONEST opinion of it.)

I am going to share with you some really tasty Biscottis from Nonnie's.  They carry a lot of different flavors that you can choose from or just try them all.  I was given the opportunity to try 4 of their different  flavored Biscottis.

In this part, I would like to share a little bit about the company with you all.  It all started about a century ago in the little town of Lucca Italy where Nonni (Italian for Grandmother) baked delicious cookies using only real ingredients that she could gather from the tiny markets along her narrow cobblestone streets. When Nonni’s came to America she brought her passion for baking, her unmatched old world recipes and knowledge that right ingredients blended and folded in made the difference. Soon Nonni’s cookies became a favorite here as well.

Today we continue to bake cookies and snacks rooted in tradition. We bake in small batches with real ingredients you have in your kitchen. A tradition of real flavor from ingredients you see and words you can say like eggs, butter, almonds, pistachios, dried fruit and gourmet chocolate. A tradition that delivers that special treat of perfect smart snack. Whether you are enjoying a Nonni’s Cioccolati Biscotti as an after dinner or Cranberry Almond THINaddictives as a mid-morning snack you know you have something that reflects the care and tradition that started over 100 year ago.

Now I would like to start out with my favorite biscotti out of the 4 I received.  We all have our own tastes, so you should give them all a try and decide for yourself.  Now don't get me wrong I like them all but of course like everything I like some more than others.

Now this one (above) is my favorite.  I personally love how the dark chocolate is swirled and you are able to taste it with each bite.  The pumpkin flavor is just so flavorful and when it seems like it is fading then that is when the chocolate pops out.  The .chocolate goes great with the pumpkin flavor.  You must really try this one.  Yummy!

Now this one is a flavorful milk chocolate with the boost of hazelnut.  With this one make sure you like the flavor of hazelnut.  Now don't get me wrong it is not a bang of hazelnut, but you are able to taste it.  This one is my son's favorite one.

If you love gingerbread cookies then this is definitely the one for you.  This one has such a nice mellow flavor of gingerbread.  That is what makes it great.  It also has that thin frosting layer on top of it and it is so very tasty.  Now this one you need to make a cup of hot chocolate and dip it into it.  Just trust me it is so DELICIOUS. 

This one is just pumpkin spice and that is exactly what you taste.  I personally really do not care for this one, but you need to try it out because you might love it.  The reason I don't care for it is because I don't like eating pumpkin pie either.  My husband loves this one and he dunks it in his coffee.  He said you all should try it is very good.  Like I said we all have our own favorite flavors, so give it a try.



Now for the last thing, I would like to tell you about Nonni's Biscottis is that they are individual wrapped and easy to carry with you.  They are very flavorful and these are just the 4 special holiday flavors.  You need grab yourself  some and give them a try.

I have, to be honest with you that this is my first ever grinder set I have ever owned.  Yes, that is the truth.  I know lots of people that have them and I have used their's but never owned my own.

The Salt & Pepper Grinder Set is very nice looking, lightweight and great little carrying stand.  You are able to carry the set from stove to table with no hassle, the clear glass makes it visible to see which one is which and the grinder top is very easy to use and has no hassle to grind up the whole pepper or salt.

You are able to have fresh ground salt & pepper in just seconds.  This would make the perfect gift to chef's, families that have a Sunday dinner and just for show.  My husband loves his fresh ground pepper so it is actually getting lots of use in my house.

If you are like me and love to cook then this is the knife for you.  I already have lots of different knives, but I was looking for that special one that would do everything with ease.  What I mean is that I need a knife for dicing, slicing, mincing, chopping and cutting.  Yo are probably saying "Good Luck" and I did too.

This knife is designed to be thin and lightweight for ease of use, yet durable and sharp enough to perform its functions effectively. I personally can say that this knife glides right through the vegetables and slices up really nice.  This knife is 8 inches in length and is the common size that is preferred by all professionals.

The blade is very attractive and quite an attention getter. Best of all is that the blade backs up its looks with serious high-end performance. I have tried other high-end kitchen knives and this one from Kape not only looks nicer, is significantly less expensive, but it also performs to the same level.

This would make the perfect gift for the culinary student, the chef or for the one person that prepares the meals in their home.  I know I would have loved to receive this as a gift.  I do about 99.9% of the cooking in my house and I needed a new knife that does everything.

I was one of the lucky ones to get this book, read it and tell you all about it.  But as you read everything I wrote just remeber to form your own opinion of the book you must get it and read it yourself.

Now that I shared with you the short desciption of the book,so you can get a small idea of what the book is about.  Now below I am going to share my own opinion with you all.

My Opinion Of The Book:

I want to admit one thing right at the start.  The unique title of the book drew me to it.  I also heard that this author has well-written books.  Now to let the title fool you because this book  is neither a weird or light-hearted book.  Throughout the story I found myself almost in tears.  This book made me want a better relationship with Jesus. It stirred a desire in me to be more loving to people and to reflect Jesus more than I do. This is the kind of book that shakes you, challenges you, and makes you want to do better...be better.  This author, Davis shows what it means to truly love Jesus and show that love to the world. It is an interesting read, yet one that is loaded with all kinds of challenges and truth.

MY OPINION:

I want to share with you what I thought of the product and my friend's husband thought of it.  This is great for Stage and excellent for backing tracks ....also keeps outside noise out.  I personally received great service and fast delivery from Musician Friends.  These are aA great pair of headphones. Isolation is awesome. I have used these with my iPod while running my vacuum, lawn mower and etc  I cannot hear the machines at all. Great true sound quality.
